In the pages of Matthew’s Gospel, we find the tax collector-turn-disciple present to us a snapshot of the life and teachings of Jesus. This certainly is not aa complete biography nor an exhaustive collection of Jesus’ teaching. Instead, we will be looking how Jesus words transformed the lives of people in his day and how they can impact our modern day lives and faith.
